Our solar eclipses glasses are made from a Shade 14 Welding lens which allows them to be used to watch a solar eclipse. These are exceptionally dark lenses intended solely for solar eclipse observation or they can be used for welding.
Our range of solar eclipse glasses including this model (WLD-S14-ETG) will block 99% of ultraviolet light and 97% of infrared radiation.
Viewing any solar eclipse can be damaging to your eyes and should be approached with care. However with our range of glasses you can be assured that your choices are providing the best protection for your eyes while you focus on enjoying the natural phenomenon of the eclipse. All lens material used has been certified to be Shade 14 by DIN Certo, Class 1 by notified body 0196 CE. In addition, they meet all Transmission Requirements as specified by ISO 12312-2:2015 for direct solar observation.
